Who We Are
McCullers Community Baptist Church is a Christ-honoring, Bible-teaching, Bible-preaching church that exists to fulfill the great commission of making disciples of our Lord, Jesus Christ! We aim to make disciples of all people of all ages, and we offer ministry programs for all walks and stages of life.
The One True God who created all things gave two very special revelations of Himself to His creation. The most significant revelation of God is Jesus Christ. The second greatest revelation of God is His Word, the Holy Bible. From beginning to end, the Bible reveals to us the fallen nature of humanity, the shared and desperate need we all have to be saved and redeemed from it, and the incomprehensible love of God, who has selflessly and miraculously provided a way for that redemption to become a reality.
We believe that God's Word, properly taught and expounded, gives life! Abundant and eternal life that can be received and experienced beginning here and now! We commit ourselves to the diligent study, interpretation, and teaching of God's Word for personal application, which leads to spiritual growth, as we navigate through the ups and downs of life. At McCullers, we do this together, as a family of believers who genuinely love the Lord, by loving and serving one another. The term "church family" is an experienced reality here - and it's a reality we want to share with you!
As we live out our identity as a church, we want to impact our community. One way we do this is by declaring that the gospel of Jesus Christ is for everyone! We know that the gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to save and change lives, and we invite you to come and find out for yourself. Whether you are looking for a new church home or are entirely new to church, we have a place for you, and we sincerely believe you belong here!
We look forward to meeting you!

Our Mission Statement
Making disciples of Jesus Christ through the Gospel, The Word of God, and The Power of the Holy Spirit
(Matthew 28:18-20)

Leadership Team
Pastor Matthew is drawn to the close study of Scripture and attempts to bring out the eternal truth of God's Word and apply it to the lives of modern people. He feels his calling in life is to share the transformational and redemptive power of God's Word with all people of all generations. He is a student of the Bible, and he desires to share his passion through the teachings of God's Word.
1 Timothy 1:15 "It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance , that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all."
Through the worship ministry, Pastor Wayne fosters an atmosphere where the congregation can exalt the Lord through music and singing. He desires everyone to be drawn closer to the throne of God as the church gathers to worship together.
"O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together." Psalm 34"3
Pastor Terry’s passion is to see the Church become actively involved in missions with each person finding his/her own place in making Christ known to the world
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by Faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

"Hanging of the Greens" practice will be on Saturday, December 6 at 10:00 AM. Anyone who wants to assist with the "Hanging of the Greens" program,
please contact Shawn Gibson 919-395-6543.
You are invited to the Hanging of the Greens!
This is the most beautiful service we have at McCullers Community Baptist Church! Always held on the first Sunday in December, this service has become a tradition where we welcome the Advent & Christmas season. While listening to special musical performances of timeless Christmas classics, you are encouraged to enjoy and reflect on the true “reason for the season.” At the same time, the sanctuary is decorated to celebrate the coming & birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
From the “true-to-their-name” evergreens, which remind us of God’s unchanging nature and the eternal life found in Jesus Christ, to the star-shaped, blood-colored leaves of the poinsettia plants, symbols of significant spiritual truth will surround you! The Christmas lights and the flickering flames from the candles are all meant to point to “the tender mercy of our God” who gives “light to those who sit in darkness.” (Luke 1:78-79 ESV).
We want you to connect with and reflect deeply on the real meaning of Christmas… You will not want to miss this special event!

Mission
The Christian Women’s Fellowship exists to help women of all ages experience the abundant life that flows from a relationship with Jesus. We find meaning and fulfillment in sharing life experiences, praying, and serving the Lord.
Serving church members and serving the Lord in the four walls of the church building brings us great joy. Visitors and guests are always welcome to join us

Join us for our weekly Bible study every Sunday at 9:30 am! It's an excellent opportunity to explore faith, share insights, and grow together in a community. We look forward to seeing you as we dive into meaningful discussions and strengthen our spiritual journey. Everyone is welcome!

D-Group
Short for Discipleship Group for 5th-8th graders, they meet during the worship service when the children’s church is dismissed.
Children's Church and Nursery
Our children, ages 4 to 12, join their parents for about 15 minutes at the beginning of the adult Sunday morning worship. After that time, one of our dedicated teachers led the children to a separate area for their Children’s Church service. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where your little ones can learn and grow in their faith. Our dedicated team is excited to engage your children with activities and meaningful lessons.
Currently we provide a men’s fellowship the second Tuesday night of each month at 7:00 PM. The men enjoy a time of fellowship and prayer together at a local restaurant. Many of our men are active in various ministries of the church including various church-wide mission projects.
